Greetings from the Central Texas Area Alliance of Black School Educators!
I am honored to serve as the 2nd president of Central Texas Alliance of Black School Educators. Our past president has set the path towards excellence. It is my pleasure to take the torch and continue to move us forward. This organization is near and dear to my personal values and beliefs. We are in pursuit of educational equity for children of African descent. We will achieve this goal through growing our membership, visibility in our community, legislative advocacy, professional development, and leadership development. Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” As a group of highly effective educators, we have the ability to be change makers. We must remain steadfast in our efforts to bridge the educational gap for our children. Let’s make it happen!
